Lavender In The Woods
Gathering lavender is both an exciting and bittersweet time of year. Most of the lavender is hung to dry in the shed, while the carefully selected long stems with lush spiked tops are set aside to create our exclusive Lavender Wands.
Meanwhile, the screen printing process is in full swing to produce our lavender sachets on remnants of reclaimed vintage linen, all amidst a surprisingly serene atmosphere as we realize that summer will soon come to a close.

We are excited to announce the launch of the In The Woods Lavender Initiative this year.
As our plants approach the end of their ten-year cycle of optimum spikes, they have endured unusual weather patterns for the past several years in Northern Spain straining their ability to propagate and many need replacement.
With each Lavender Wand and Lavender Sachet purchased 100% of the proceeds will be directed towards planting young lavender plants from local greenhouses in our field, helping to conserve and expand our lavender in The Woods.
This expansion process may take up to two years to produce the high-quality lavender many of you have cherished over the past decade, ensuring we continue to offer the remarkable fragrance and benefits for years to come.

If lavender wands or sachets aren’t your preference, consider gifting one or both to someone who appreciates the lingering and soothing aroma of dried lavender, or support our initiative to ensure our beloved lavender continues to thrive in the fields.

By joining the Lavender In The Woods Initiative:
All proceeds will go towards purchasing young lavender plants.
Contributors will receive our newsletter covering our progress with updates from this collective effort. If you wish to exclude yourself from the mailing list, just let us know.
A live video tour of the greenhouse(s) we plan to purchase from will also be organised for you to join us.
We ship globally.
All who purchase a Lavender Wand, a Lavender Satchet or both are responsible for shipping costs which will be calculated at the lowest available rate to your location.
At this time we are only offering the Lavender Wands and Lavender Sachets for this initiative.
The lavender is from our summer 2025 harvest.
The initiative will be continuous through 15 March 2026 or until we have depleted our 2025 dried lavender.
Young plants will be planted from mid to late April 2026 and a marking can be placed with your name or of a loved one at your request for as many new plants you made possible through your collaboration.
Participants in the Lavender In The Woods initiative will have an option to enter in a drawing for a chance to win an assortment from The Home in The Woods Collection of textiles once the 50 New Lavender Plants goal is met by 15 March 2026.
The Collection will be unveiled once we meet our goal of 50 New Lavender Plants.
